The first step is to send us a message letting us know you’re interested in being featured. Fill out the basic message form on our Tell Your Story page.

All we need to start is a basic reason you want to be featured or know someone you think should be featured, which is good enough. We will get the greater details later.

Then, we’ll be in touch.

Fill Out a Release Form

If your story is chosen for publication, we will contact you about filling out a standard release form giving Onward Sister permission to use your photos and story.

You know the drill, right? We definitely don’t want to use your image or words without your consent, and, of course, there are legalities.

Be Interviewed

This part of the process can vary depending on whether we are doing a quick profile or a more in-depth biography.

We may only use one picture, one quote, or both. Every person, every story, and every feature will be a little different.

For longer interviews, we may have a set time to meet in person, or Zoom, or have you fill out interview questions. Whichever method works best for the occasion and person.

Publication

The final piece is to be featured on the Onward Sister website and social media channels.

We will send you links to everything so you can follow and participate in any conversations that follow.
